On July 9th through 12th, the the growing international network of labs, units and i-teams innovating governance and public services around the worlds will convene for LabWorks 2015. The fourth-annual conference will be hosted by Nesta in association with Bloomberg Philanthropies and with support from partners the GovLab, MindLab, and Mars Solutions Lab
LabWorks 2015 comprises three distinct elements aimed at fostering the continued evolution of the labs community and amplifying its impact:
- Global Lab Gathering, Thursday July 9th – A day focused on knowledge exchange between practitioners, policy makers and researchers that will seek to "inspire in each other a new sense of what is possible in public service innovation."
- Global Lab Practitioners Workshop, Friday July 10th – A workshop for labs practitioners aimed at developing skills, exchanging insights, and building platforms for future collaborative projects, with expert leads from the GovLab, Nesta, and MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Opening Governance, among others.
- Coaching Retreat, Saturday July 11th and Sunday July 12th – An extended learning session wherein labs practitioners will gain hands-on, bespoke coaching and advice from members of the GovLab, Nesta, La 27e Region, MindLab, and MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Opening Governance.
